MathruSangam was started in 1996, with the objective of inculcating the savings habit among women. They were saving Re.1 to Rs.10/- per day from their small income. During this Financial Year, Rs. 1,47,656.00 were thus collected, and Rs.1,40,626.00 were distributed during the month of June to women in need. This scheme had created a great impact among women.
