A tailoring school called the. Navjyothi Tailoring School was inaugurated in Selliamman Nagar on 14th August, 2010 by Mr. Shakeel Akthar, IPS. During the first year, 12 ladies were trained and they completed the tailoring course. Mrs. Subbulakshmi supervises the school and its activities. Tailoring and stitching classes are taught at the school from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm daily. We gratefully remember the guidance and support of Mr.JoseD'Cruz of Prince Tailors.
