It has been a long-cherished dream of Navjyothi to open an old- age home for deprived elderly people, to take care of their physical and spiritual needs. The plan is to accommodate at least 50 elderly people, both paying and free-of-charge, in the home. Navjyothi has received an acre of land, donated by a philanthropist. It plans to purchase another 5 acres of land for the project. Navjyothi looks forward to generous contributions from well-wishers for the project. The cost of the project of the old-age home is currently estimated as Rs. 1 Crore (Rs. 10 million).

It is of particular significance that Mr. T. K. Joseph has been in the field of social work and evangelism for the past 35 years. It is his belief that the Divine Hand works through him and through Navjyothi, with the support of sponsors who contribute to its various activities and projects, for the upliftment of the underprivileged. Navjyothi hopes to continue to receive the enthusiastic and generous financial and moral support of more well-wishers in order to sustain its existing projects and those in the pipeline and in its plans.
