For the past 20 years, Navjyothi has been celebrating Christmas with the less fortunate of Chengalpattu/ Kanchipuram District. Visits were undertaken to the villages and gifts such as cakes, story books, Steel plates / steel bowls and such presents were distributed.

The Christmas Gift distribution programme for 2023 started in Sellliammannagarof Chengelpattu District. Rev Sam Mathew inaugurated the distribution on 23rd December 2023. It is a matter of joy that around 6778 gifts were distributed during Christmas. Sponsors supported by contributing Rs. 300/- for every gift.
